Assistant Prosecutor
Michael Wiener
A graduate of Wheeling Jesuit College and the Dayton College of Law, Michael started with the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2002. Michael handles the prosecution of juvenile criminal cases, represents Children Services in abuse/neglect cases, and represents the Child Support Enforcement Agency. Michael represents the County in all foreclosure matters. Michael is a full time employee of the County Prosecutor’s Office.
Assistant Prosecutor
Dan Stanley
A graduate of The Ohio State University and University of Toledo College of Law, Dan joined the Prosecutor’s office in January of 2022. Prior to serving here, Dan served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Franklin County for fifteen years, and in the same role in Morrow County for one year. He previously served a two-year term as a Special Assistant United State’s Attorney. Dan’s primary responsibilities include adult felony prosecution and investigations.
Assistant Prosecutor
Thomas Meagher
A graduate of Everest University and the University of Toledo College of Law, Thomas joined the prosecutor’s office in 2022. Prior to serving here, Thomas was a defense attorney who represented clients throughout many of the local counties, including Crawford. Thomas’s primary responsibilities are to prosecute misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases. Thomas is a full time employee of the County Prosecutor’s Office.

Ryan Hoovler
Ryan is a graduate of Mansfield Christian High School and the Ohio State University with an undergrad degree in Finance. Furthering his education, Ryan attended Regent Law School and passed the Ohio Bar in 2001. Ryan originally joined the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2013. In 2022, he left the office to work in the private sector, but returned in 2023. Ryan’s primary responsibility includes felony prosecution and grand jury presentation. He also advises local law enforcement with felony matters. Away from the office, Ryan is a proud father of three children.
Criminal Investigator
Jamey Gregory
Jamey is a graduate of North Central State Police Academy and joined the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office in December of 2022. Prior to serving here, Jamey served as a Criminal Investigations Agent for the Ohio Department of Taxation’s Criminal Investigations Division for 10 years. Jamey assists with locating witnesses and victims, is a liaison with law enforcement, investigates cases as assigned by the Prosecutor, and aids in the collection and discovery of evidence. Jamey is also a Special Deputy with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
James R. Scott
Jim joined the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2002 and has served as the Director of Victims’ Services ever since. Jim provides that the rights afforded to victims of crime are afforded in each case. Those rights include notification of court hearings, preparation for testifying, determinations of restitution requests, and the formulation of appropriate victim statements at sentencing.
Karen Williams
Administrative Assistant
Karen joined the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2003 and has also worked at the Crawford County Municipal Court and Crawford County Auditor’s Office. Karen’s responsibilities include assisting on misdemeanor cases and preparing Grand Jury.
Kristy Armbruster
Paralegal/Administrative Assistant
Kristy joined the County Prosecutor’s office in 2013 upon completing her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from North Central State College. Her primary responsibilities include assisting on juvenile, child support, foreclosures, and township matters.
Leslie Mack
Paralegal
Leslie joined the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2015 after serving as paralegal to Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Russell Wiseman for thirteen years. In addition to her service at the Court, Leslie is a certified mediator and has advocated on behalf of victims in her prior employment with a victim’s shelter. Her primary responsibilities include legal research, trial preparation, foreclosure mediation. Leslie has an associate degree from Marion Technical College in Paralegal Studies.
Trish Calder
Administrative Assistant
Trish joined the County Prosecutor’s Office in 2020 after serving as a Dispatcher at the Bucyrus Police Department for 13 years. Her primary responsibilities include assisting the County Prosecutor, completing payroll and paying bills.
